Chain yourself to your storyline. By wrist, by ankle, by neck, by
heart. Whatever it takes don’t let the author inside of you stray from the
straight and narrow of a well-planned tale.
Admittedly, this bit of advice is a bit of a bummer.
Admittedly, I fail to follow it 98 percent of the time.
But there is a time and place for such discipline. Twisted Intent, the working title for my next novel, is just such a
place. So when I rail against the rope burns and the rattle of chains in the
next three months, please forgive me. I will try to keep my moans brief.
Until tomorrow…
Chloe
