I didn’t even know it was missing. Nope, I had no idea it was lost
until I stumbled upon it and went “Ooh, that’s perfect!”
The lynchpin moment.
The one scene in a story where the protagonist decides his fate.
In my stories, this is rarely the climax, but a precursor to it. How I
managed to craft the entirety of “Oklahoma” without it is rather alarming. Really
alarming. Bad, bad author.
Bottom line: Don’t forget your lynchpin.
