Two items of extraordinary note for today…
1.) I will vote. After a
nearly 20 year absence from the polls, I have finally uncovered enough backbone
to return to the ballot box. (This year’s
presidential election has given me little choice.) Hopefully, my pockmarked spine will see me
through Florida’s early voting process.
2.) The Chicago Cubs. Game
7. World Series. Enough said. (If I survive the voting, I will likely
disintegrate into a Cubby-blue pluff of ecstasy before first pitch. Ah! The
sweet agony of life.)
